Andrew, born into the fabric of GL Construction, has woven a remarkable career in the construction industry. His journey began with summers on the job site, evolving into a full-time commitment after graduating, where he earned his red seal carpentry ticket.

Venturing beyond borders, Andrew spent seven years traversing the globe, contributing his skills to construction, training, and project management on an international scale. It was also during this time that he met and married his wife, Heidi Heckenberg-Gossen, an accomplished interior designer in town.

Their marriage became a foundation for both personal and professional collaborations. In 2020, amid the challenges posed by the pandemic, Andrew and Heidi returned to Canada with a shared vision. Andrew, seeking to fortify his skills in contracting, immersed himself in the intricacies of the field, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to professional growth. Two years later, Andrew emerged as a partner in GL Construction, alongside his brother.

Beyond the construction site, Andrew and Heidi, along with their two kids, are devoted to witnessing the flourishing growth and development of Williams Lake.
